Kerdiles Passes Away At 29

A new announcement from the Anaheim Ducks has confirmed that former NHLer Nic Kerdiles has passed away.
We're heartbroken to hear the news about Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this morning. An Irvine native, Nic became the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks, in 2017. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.
Kerdiles was reportedly in a motorcycle accident that was the cause of his passing. During his NHL career, Kerdiles played with the Ducks in 2 different seasons.
As mentioned by the Ducks in their announcement he was also the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks. His professional career as a whole lasted 6 seasons in total.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and former teammates during such a difficult time.
