Reaves Enjoys Leafs Camp But Makes a Suggestion
The Toronto Maple Leafs are prepping for the upcoming season at their training camp.
New faces, including Ryan Reaves, are getting acclimated to coach Sheldon Keefe's training methods, which for some, come as a bit of a surprise. Reaves talked about
"Sheldon Keefe put on some music during the Leafs' practice on Friday and Ryan Reaves says it was his favourite thing since his arrival in Toronto. 😂"
He continued by saying he'd like a change in the musical style. Keefe mostly plays EDM and Reaves would like to throw some hip hop in the mix.

In today's NHL, Ryan Reaves stands out as one of the remaining enforcers. Beyond occasional goals, it's his physical presence that solidifies his position in the league. While he might not play in every Leafs games, when he's on the ice, he brings an undeniable intensity.
After the lack of physicality that we saw in the Leafs' last playoff run against the Panthers, the inclusion of Reaves means players like Matthew Tkachuk or Radko Gudas will have to think twice about their actions, both during and after the whistle.
