Despite a stronger than expected start, the Anaheim Ducks have found themselves at the bottom of the standings once again. As a result, the team will likely be sellers at the trade deadline. Could this finally be the year they trade veteran goaltender John Gibson?

Gibson In Trade Rumors Again

John Gibson is no stranger to trade rumors. The Ducks have been at the bottom of the standings more or less the entire time he has been there despite his high level of play. As a result, fans and media alike have often thrown his name out there as a potential trade candidate. This year, the rumors have returned.







Gibson has put up solid numbers this season despite playing behind a very inexperienced Ducks team. He has a .907 save percentage and a 2.8 goals-against-average to go along with his 5-10 record. The Ducks as a whole are 10-14-0. Will this finally be the year Gibson is moved? We will just have to wait and see.
