Tonight a major trade has been completed between two Pacific Division rivals.
Major Trade Between Sharks And Canucks Completed
Tonight the Vancouver Canucks announced they had made a trade with the San Jose Sharks. The Canucks will be sending Jack Studnicka to San Jose for Nick Cicek and a 6th round pick.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the #Canucks have acquired D Nick Cicek and a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for F Jack Studnicka.
Both players have NHL experience with Studnicka having far more games in the NHL. This likely explains the need for a pick added to Nick Cicek. Studnicka and Cicek will now both look to get back to the NHL with a fresh start.
