There was a major controversy in the latest battle between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche, and now a top media personality has been called out for it.
On Friday night, the Dallas Stars took down the Colorado Avalanche in double overtime to book their ticket to the Western Conference Finals, winning by a score of 2-1 to win the series in six games. However, it could have happened much sooner, as a controversial call took their game winner off the board due to goaltender interference.
Unsurprisingly, not many people were happy with the call, as TNT's Paul Bissonette made some major comments on the broadcast, accusing the officials of having money on the game.

Paul Bissonnette did not agree with the would-be series-winning goal being called off.
"So I don't know if that ref's got the DraftKings sportsbook going right now. But that was kind of a BS call."
Now, a prominent NHL social media profile have used their platform to call out the former NHLer, rightfully calling the comments ‘garbage'.
It's fine to disagree with the call and be frustrated with the NHL/rule/Situation Room/goaltender interference in general, but to imply that the refs are illegally betting on games is garbage, particularly from a national broadcaster. Be better,

With sports betting becoming more prominent in all of sports, it won't be the last time that a major name calls out officials, and at the end of the day they are human and make plenty of mistakes just like players on the ice, so these type of accusations need to slow down.
