In the past few hours, several members of the Gaudreau family have broken their silence following the tragedy involving Johnny and Matthew, delivering powerful messages through their social media accounts.
This was notably the case with Meredith Gaudreau, Johnny Gaudreau's wife, who shared a very touching post about the love the two brothers shared. She took this opportunity to make a final request to the eldest in the family, Matthew Gaudreau.
Indeed, she asked him to continue taking care of his brother Johnny in heaven, indicating that she would take care of Madeline and their future little boy, Tripp.
"John and Matty. You don't hear one name without the other. Always side by side. Even in large groups, you could find them next to each other. Johnny admired Matty and relied on him for everything. And Matty was always there. The best of friends and the biggest fans of each other, despite having completely opposite personalities. Everyone wanted to be near them, including me. I would sit and watch John sincerely enjoy the time he spent with his brother.
Matty, thank you for loving our babies as your own and for being an extraordinary uncle and godfather. I can't wait to return this honor when I become Tripp's aunt. I don't think John could live a day without you, so I'm comforted knowing that you're, of course, together in heaven.
Please continue to take care of John as you always have. I'll take care of Madeline and Tripp. We love you very much." - Meredith Gaudreau

It's impossible to read such a message without tearing up...
It's so heartbreaking to see the situation in which Meredith and Madeline currently find themselves, as they now have to raise their young children without Johnny and Matthew's presence.
One thing is certain: it's truly inspiring to see the courage these two women are showing after receiving such tragic news. We are very happy to see that Meredith and Madeline can support each other during these extremely difficult times, as they have unfortunately lost their husbands and the fathers of their children in the last few hours.
However, they can be assured that the two best friends are watching over them from heaven. We want to send them a wave of unconditional love, and we are all standing behind them in this tragically inhumane ordeal.
