However, the application process expected to take at least two years, by the time a decision is made the sentence will be done anyways. On that fatal April 6 night, the Indian native ran a red light and hit the incoming bus causing it go off the rails.
April 4th, 2018, was the last game those Broncos played. It was game 4 of the SJHL playoffs against the Nipawin Hawks, who trailed the series 2-1. The game saw the late Tyler Bieber calling play-by-play. The Broncos were down 3-1 early in the second period but scored four unanswered goals for a 5-3 lead after two periods. Unfortunately, the Hawks tied it in the third before winning it in triple overtime, squaring the series. Then the crash happened and it was sadly over.
As for Sidhu, there's a wide-ranging debate whether he should be allowed to stay or must be deported to his native India.
Do you think Jaskirat Singh Sidhu - the trucker who caused the Humboldt Broncos crash - should be deported?
Hopefully, the case isn't taken lightly and the best decision is made for all parties involved.
