Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's family have just released a detailed official statement highlighting the tragic events that took place a few days ago.
For a second time, a statement from
the Gaudreau family has come forward, and this time, they simply just wanted to say thank you for all of the overwhelming love that came their way.
Must read on Daily Hockey Dose
We strongly encourage the need to read their full, heartfelt statement above, as it is extremely touching to everyone.
The fact that the Gaudreau family took the time to publicly thank everyone for their outpouring of love amidst the unimaginable grief says all it needs to about who they are as people, truly great, wholehearted, down to earth human beings.
What a remarkable family. Our hearts go out to them, and we wish them all the strength and comfort they need during these incredibly tough times.
Rest in peace, John and Matty, you will be missed by everyone around the game and in the world. We miss you!
