When the Toronto Maple Leafs learned that they would be facing the Florida Panthers instead of the Boston Bruins in the second round of the playoffs, many Leafs fans felt relieved, thinking that it would be an easy series for the team.
Unfortunately for Leafs Nation, this has not been the case, as they have encountered a red-hot goaltender in the form of Florida Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky. Despite the Leafs building an early 2-0 lead, Bobrovsky has been lights out for the Panthers, leading them to a 3-2 comeback win.
The frustration is evident for the Leafs, as shown by goaltender Ilya Samsonov, who dropped an F-bomb when asked about Bobrovsky's performance, simply stating:
"I Don't Give A Fu#k!"
The Leafs now are heading to Florida down 2-0 in the series and have to find a way to solve Bobrovsky or they will once again be heading to the golf course for the summer.
