The people finally got what they wanted.
With the Rangers trailing 3-2 against the Leafs. Matt Rempe laid a monster hit on Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin, knocking him right out of the game. That's exactly what Ryan Reaves was waiting for.

The Battle: Matt Rempe vs. Ryan Reaves:

These two behemoths went at it in a lengthy brawl. Rempe, using his size and reach to his advantage, kept Reaves at bay. It was a fierce showdown, with both guys landing some solid punches.
Now, Reaves hasn't seen much action this season, only playing in 32 games, but don't let that fool you. The veteran is still holding his own, managing to squeeze in three fights and rack up 29 penalty minutes. It's solid for a seasoned bruiser like him, who's got over a thousand penalty minutes under his belt throughout his career.
Heading into this matchup, it felt like a heavyweight original six showdown, with both teams eyeing the Stanley Cup. Then it turned into much more than that.
