Following a disappointing playoff run, the Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to implement considerable changes to their team.
The future of veteran defenseman
Luke Schenn in Leafs Nation is shrouded in uncertainty. Earlier in the week, it emerged that Schenn had been involved in contract discussions with Kyle Dubas prior to Dubas' departure.
As of now, it appears that Schenn may be seeking a new team starting July 1st.
With Schenn likely becoming a free agent many wonder if he could potentially return to Vancouver?

The prospect of his potential move became a point of discussion on the Donnie & Dhali podcast, which primarily covers the Canucks. In response to questions regarding a potential return to the Canucks, Schenn managed to maintain a sense of humor, acknowledging that he expected such queries.
He confessed that he'd be delighted to return to Vancouver, yet his return remains uncertain due to the Canucks' apparent plan to focus on younger talent.
Should the Canucks decide to bring Schenn on board, it could prove beneficial. Schenn's successful past stint alongside the Canucks' star defenseman
Quinn Hughes serves as proof of his potential value. Schenn could help raise Hughes' performance level and provide the toughness he's widely known for.
