The Vancouver Canucks have been the NHL's best team from the start of the 2023-24 season, but ahead of the trade deadline, it appears that they are ready to make some big moves.
Despite acquiring him just a few months ago, there are now whispers emerging that Nikita Zadorov, the former Calgary Flames defenseman could be on the move once again.
On the surface, this sounds wild, but now, Don Taylor that the fit on and off the ice just hasn't been as good as people had expected upon arrival.

"You're starting to hear the odd thing, I'm wonder how happy they are with him and I don't mean just on the ice. I'm wondering how he's meshing in that room...I'm not so sure there's a mesh there right now"
Where can the Canucks improve?
While other Canucks analysts have been quick to shut down this rumour, it's clear that he hasn't been as good as expected, posting 0 goals since arriving, despite posting a career high 14 a season ago.
The Canucks seem set at every position, but they have still been linked to the likes of
Chris Tanev even since acquiring Zadorov, and if they can find the right fit on the blue line, this is a team that appears ready to go deep in 2023-24.
