Max Domi has emerged as one of the more critical pieces of the Leafs' playoff puzzle, finding chemistry on the top line with Auston Matthews. His health, however, is in the air as Sheldon Keefe recently indicated he has a lingering injury.

At the start of the season, it appeared that Max Domi wasn't going to fit the bill in Toronto. He struggled to produce, and found himself trying to find a foothold on the Leafs' third line. However, once he got comfortable, his gameplay skyrocketed, landing him on the first line with Auston Matthews and Tyler Bertuzzi. This unexpected trio has made the most of their time together, proving to Sheldon Keefe that they can be a viable first-line option come the post-season.
However, that is if Max Domi can stay healthy. It has been revealed by Sheldon Keefe that Domi is dealing with a lingering injury, one that has kept him from practice recently and will now keep him from playing the remainder of the regular season.
"He's been dealing with something that's been going on for a while."

Keefe's comments shouldn't be the biggest source of stress for Leaf fans, as he noted that playing doesn't make the injury worse. This means that Domi will more than likely be in the lineup for game 1, and that they are using these final two games, which mean nothing, as rest for him.
If the Leafs can get everyone back up to close to 100 percent before game 1, that would be huge, as they are also dealing with an injury to Bobby McMann. Both players are of incredible importance to Keefe's expected 'spread offence style lineup these playoffs.
