Today reporters in attendance noticed a troubling absence for the Toronto Maple Leafs during their practice. The player absent sent off major alarm bells as to why he is absent particularly with the NHL trade deadline fast approaching.

Multiple reports have confirmed this morning that forward David Kampf was not seen on the ice for practice. He was not present for individual drills or the line rushes either.
