NHL Insiders Predict William Nylander Will Not Stay in Toronto
The city of Toronto was a buzz after the announcement of Auston Matthews' massive extension over the summer, but unfortunately, they're yet to come to terms with the last member of the core four, William Nylander.
As such, the mecca of the hockey world and the ruthless media in Toronto have been all over the story for months now, but it appears we are no closer to an extension or a trade for the 27-year old star.

Until a deal is made, the rumours and speculation will persist, and now, some of the biggest Insiders in Toronto have given their final opinion on what will happen over the next few months.
A bigger contract elsewhere
According to the NHL Network, the Maple Leafs have priced themselves out of Nylander, as they predict he will end up signing elsewhere in the summer of 2024.
Ultimately, no one quite knows what's going to happen, and while Nylander and Brad Treliving have both expressed an interest in making a deal happen, until it does, the questions will persist.
