Knies Leaves Practice Due To Injury
Toronto Maple Leafs Forward Matthew Knies was helped off the ice by trainers after appearing to be injured during a drill.

The rookie was injured during a warmup drill for Leafs practice. Knies had an assist in Toronto's last game vs San Jose. Everyone else is present for Leafs practice except D Mark Giordano.
Noah Gregor, who missed the game vs the Sharks, returned for on-ice practice.
According to David Alter of The Hockey News, Knies was unable to put weight on his leg after leaving the ice.
Knies, 21, has 8 Goals, 7 Assists & 15 Points in 36 Games for the Maple Leafs this season in his rookie campaign.
Toronto, who has been struggling with injury issues this season, have not confirmed any update on Knies, who will likely undergo further testing if he does not return today.
