The deal is worth around $6.25 million per year, according to Elliotte Friedman:
Chandler Stephenson 7 x around $6.25M Seattle
Stephenson was a rock last season and a pretty big reason the Knights made it so far into the playoffs, as he clocked in an impressive 51 goals throughout the entire season. It will be interesting to see what a multi Stanley cup champion can bring to the Kraken's.
Now that the Kraken have a strong second line centre position, everyone's wondering what use they'd have for Matty Beniers, who wouldn't be of much use anymore.
