Halfway through the game between the Penguins and Capitals Alex Ovechkin met Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson in the neutral zone. Ovechkin leaned into Karlsson and laid the boom on the new Pittsburgh Penguin.

Karlsson luckily was okay after such a massive hit and continued on in the game. At age 38 it's great to see Alex Ovechkin still playing with speed and physicality. The Penguins and Capitals rivalry is alive and well as both of them fight for a playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division.
