Matvei Michkov is the bright spot in Philadelphia right now as with a rebuild fans shift their hopes on the young stars of the team.

The Bright Future In Store For Philly Fans

The Flyers have had two good drafts and now their prospect pools are looking loaded to be ready for the future.

Cutter Gauthier and Matvei Michkov headline their prospect pool. Michkov after being scratched to start the season in the KHL, has been dominating the KHL.

In 28 games, Michkov has tallied 11 goals and 26 points which for a young player playing in that league is almost unheard of. The young stud has been breaking Ovechkin's records in Russia and has many comparisons to the great eight.

The American Gauthier has been over point per game in every league and competition he has been in for the past couple season. The production has continued this season as in 14 games with Boston College, Gauthier has 12 goals and 18 points.

The future is looking promising if both of these players can reach their full potential.
