Pierre LeBrun has reported today that the Ottawa Senators' Shane Pinto has been suspended for activities related to sports gambling. Pinto has been suspended indefinitely.

This suspension is the first of its kind in the NHL, a league that has embraced sports gambling via adds. Obvioulsy, it takes players engaging in the activity very seriously as this is a line that can't be crossed.
