Former Top-15 Pick Placed On Waivers

It is the time of year when dozens of players are placed on waivers on nearly a daily basis. The latest player to be on the waiver wire is Devils defenseman Cal Foote.

Foote was drafted 14th overall back in 2014 but has never established himself as a regular NHL player. At this point it is probably safe to say he is more of an AHL level blueliner. Still though, the draft pedigree is there so it will be interesting to see if if he gets claimed by another team.
