Tonight a shocking announcement has been made by the Montreal Canadiens via an insider. Reports are confirming that head coach Martin St. Louis will be stepping away from the Canadiens and hockey altogether.

Insider Reveals St. Louis Is Stepping Away From The Team

Reports are coming in confirming that Martin St. Louis will be taking time away from the NHL and the Montreal Canadiens effective immediately. The announcement comes as St. Louis is reportedly dealing with family matters.
The #habs announce that Martin St. Louis will be away from the team for family reasons. Assistant coach Trevor Letowski will take over during his absence.

In his absence assistant coach Trevor Letowski will assume the head coaching position. Letowski has been an assistant in Montreal since 2021. Before that, he had head coaching experience in the OHL with the Windsor Spitfires.
