Oilers fans can have high hopes again as their team slowly climbed out of the Western Conference basement. However, lingering issues persist within the Oilers' roster, and one of those concerns Jack Campbell.

Despite rumors of the Oilers considering his recall from the AHL, Campbell continues to struggle with the Bakersfield Condors. Mark Spector has now shed light on the Oilers' take on Campbell.
"This signing's been a disaster. Just a disaster. And you are getting out of it."
Campbell's problematic 3.22 goals-against average and .894 save percentage in the AHL pose a significant challenge, leaving the Oilers with doubts about his ability to return to the NHL's level.
Campbell's Contract Would Be Problematic Everywhere
The Oilers still need to add talent to their team, starting with another goaltender and, ideally, their blue line. However, getting rid of an AHL-caliber goalie that earns five million annually won't be easy.
It's safe to say that no team will want him, unless the Oilers retain salary or send either draft picks or prospects.
