It appears Corey Perry is getting close to a deal with the Edmonton Oilers, after a tumultuous few months where it looked like he wouldn't return to the NHL this year. Now, all signs are pointing to a deal being closed within the next few days.
Insider Frank Seravalli has now revealed that Perry has had significant interest from several teams, but the New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Florida Panthers were three teams vying for his services.

Seravalli also revealed that Perry could make his return with the Oilers as soon as this week, as long as a deal gets finalized in the way it is currently trending. Perry has been reportedly skating and training during his break.
If it is Edmonton, and it looks like it is, you could see him in their lineup as soon as this week.
