Yet, it hasn't been a smooth ride for Dumais this season. He's been dealing with injuries, including needing hernia surgery and aggravating a hip injury while playing for Team Canada in the World Juniors. Despite all that, he recorded 16 goals and 47 points in just 21 games with Halifax.
Dumais, a 2022 third-round pick, is set on making a solid push to join Columbus out of camp next season. Hopefully, he can put these setbacks behind him and get back to doing what he does best�lighting up the scoreboard for the second-seeded Mooseheads as they start their chase for the QMJHL championship against the seventh-seeded Acadie-Bathurst Titans.
