Sunday was meant to be all about the return of 'Showtime' Patrick Kane to Chicago, but it was abruptly taken over by the Connor Bedard show with this impressive hit on Kane.





Sure, it's not a hit that enforcers would consider huge, but given Bedard's size and being just 18-years of age, it's an impressive showing for someone that's not known for his aggression and physical ability.

Kane has also never been known as the most physical player in the league, but after a beautiful welcome in his return to Chicago, this was a great thing for the fans in the arena to see.

If the Calder Trophy front-runner can consistently add this type of play to his game and continue wowing crowds with the puck on his stick, we could certainly be looking at one of the biggest stars the NHL has ever seen.
