An interesting nugget of information has come to our attention. It turns out that Connor Bedard's great-great-uncle, James, was a former player for the Blackhawks.
He skated for the team from 1949 to 1951, recording a goal and an assist in his tenure with the Hawks.

Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, Chicago's upcoming season was expected to be rather uneventful.
