Connor Bedard's rookie season has been a showcase for the No. 1 overall pick, and now we may get to see him back on the ice sooner than expected.
An incredible show of toughness from Connor Bedard
Recently, Bedard suffered a broken jaw, with many expecting the injury to keep him out for up to eight weeks, but less than two weeks later, he appears primed and ready to get back on the ice.
Connor Bedard is in full gear right now inside the locker room.
It looks like he's going to skate on his own in a non-contact jersey. Wow. #Blackhawks

Recent reports have revealed that Bedard is dying to get back on the ice, and even with the broken jaw, the 18-year old appears ready to tough it out and return for his team and his new city.
In 39 games this year, Bedard has led a mostly talentless Blackhawks team with 33 points, and if he can get back and put together almost a full season, it may be one of the best rookie seasons we've seen in recent times.
