In breaking news, Corey Perry is set to make his return to the NHL sooner than expected, and this insider believes it could happen this month.
Perry Could Make His Return in the Next 10 Days According to Insider
No one knew what to expect from the Corey Perry incident in the days after he was terminated from the Chicago Blackhawks. However, since then, he has been permitted to return to the league by Gary Bettman and the NHL's executives. When that was announced, there was immediate speculation on whether a team would take a shot on Perry.
Now, it appears that there will be, as insider Mike Johnson has revealed that Perry could make his return as soon as this month.
«It's tricky, you might have to take a leap of faith and trust that there's nothing else without actually knowing. But I still think, from what we know about sports, he will be in the NHL.»
It's not known where exactly Perry will sign, or even if he will for sure. However, it has been echoed by other insiders that there is interest around the league in Perry's services.
We will see where he decides to go as it appears the conversation around his return is heating up.
