We've seen the links to several top teams in the Eastern Conference, especially the Boston Bruins, but now, it appears another playoff contender has joined the race.
According to The Hockey News, the Washington Capitals have immense interest in Lindholm, and with the need for a healthy top six centre, he could be the perfect addition.
It's not yet clear whether or not the Capitals are making contact with Calgary yet, but given their assets for the future, they may have enough to land the former 40-goal scorer, and it's one to keep an eye on.
