The New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames have swung a deal that lands the Devils Calgary's top point-getter from 2022-23.
Devils Acquire Toffoli
Tyler Toffoli is coming off a career year that saw him score 34 goals and register a team-leading 73 points with the Calgary Flames.
He will now be pairing up with elite talents Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier in New Jersey in hopes of winning a Stanley Cup.
The Devils traded away the 80th pick in this year's draft and Yegor Sharangovich. In 205 career NHL games, Sharangovich has scored 106 points and will look for an elevated role in Calgary.
Toffoli is just the first domino to fall in Calgary with other top talents like Elias Lindholm and Noah Hanifin also reportedly wanting out.
