Dermott Quietly Uses Pride Tape During Coyotes' Home Opener

We reported earlier this week that a player had refused to listen to Gary Bettman's orders regarding the use of pride tape.
If you missed it, Travis Dermott made a bold move by using pride tape during the Coyotes' home opener.
The NHL announced that it would review the "incident" in "due time".
Greg Wyshynski reported the following information:
"NEWS: Been told the @ArizonaCoyotes have not been informed of any NHL punishment for Travis Dermott or the team for using Pride Tape on his stick last night.

Was told earlier by the NHL not to anticipate anything from Hockey Operations on the matter today."

Allan Walsh Announces More Players Will Defy Bettman

The renowned agent Allan Walsh, who represents top players such as Jonathan Huberdeau, Marc-André Fleury, and David Perron, commented on Dermott's initiative, leading many to believe that more players will defy Bettman's orders regarding pride tape.
"Hearing many more NHL players are planning to challenge Gary Bettman's pride tape ban in the coming days. The first was last night. The symbolism of Pride Tape is 'Everyone is welcome.'" - Allan Walsh

Walsh also shared a message from Brian Burke, saying he'd pay the fines for the players who decide to use pride tape.
Do you think Bettman will lift the ban on pride tape?
