Galchenyuk Jr., 29, had zero points through 11 games played with the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) last season. He had 16 goals, 42 points through 42 games played with the Colorado Eagles (AHL).
Galchenyuk Jr. was set to play with Arizona in the NHL this season but was released following an incident where he resisted arrest, threatening an officer's family , and hurling racial slurs at him."
