NHL Team Faces Backlash After Disgusting Social Media Post

One NHL team faced the music online last night after they made a bad post on social media.

The Ducks social media admin got themselves into a lot of trouble after they made a questionable post on X last night. The post came after Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas paid a massive hit on Coyotes star forward Clayton Keller. The caption they used proved to be quite the poor choice of words.




The play reminded fans of Adam Johnson's death as Gudas's skates came close to Keller's face and neck.

Ducks Called Out For Insensitive Post Following Tragedy

Obviously, the post did not sit well with fans, who were quick to point out the insensitive nature of it.



As of the writing of this article, the post is still up on the Ducks X account. It is unlikely that the Ducks social admin intended for the post to be taken this way, but it is hard not to ignore the context. The team should take the post down but it is also possible the admin has been relieved of their duties.
