After they played a shootout thriller last week, the Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs became officially linked in trade talks, and ever since, it's felt like only a matter of time until a deal came to fruition.

It's no secret that Nikita Zadorov, the 6-foot-6, 248 pound defenseman has publicly asked for a trade, and seeing the opportunity, his agent took advantage, immediately linking him to Toronto.

Now, it appears as though Chris Tanev is also in their sights, and while the Leafs know they'll have to pay to land the talented veteran duo, with a leaked deal now coming out for the pair.

The Maple Leafs have several intriguing prospects for Calgary to target, and now, a deal has been leaked that would send Abruzzese (a former Matt Coronato teammate), Holmbgerg, Klingberg and two picks, including Toronto's 2024 first-round pick for the pair at 50% retained.
